I am a gamer, hobbyist author, and indie/hobbyist game developer.
As an author, I write speculative fiction (soft science fiction and fantasy) short stories, novellas, and novels. My stories are often a little weird with an underlying dry wit and sardonic humor and end with a Twilight Zone or Outer Limits-type twist.
As a game developer, I mostly create edutainment RPGs that tell stories and/or teach something. My goal is to create stories and games at a professional level yet remain a hobbyist beholden only to my muses.
I'm here to share my creative endeavors and earn just enough from kind people like yourself to offset the expenses for my hobbies.
Critique my stuff. Seriously.
Over the course of my professional career, I have been a technical writer, a course developer, and an instructor. Each of those roles were measured with metrics and customer feedback. One thing I learned from those experiences is that growth comes from negative reinforcement rather than positive. As a creator, spotting weaknesses is challenging as you often perceive your project as the flawless idea in your mind and not the imperfect reality. Therefore, I have one rule for feedback - include at least one thing you believe could be improved, replaced, or removed to make the story or game better.
Time is precious and limited. I hope you find my stories and games worthy of your time.
